UNDP and the UN

UNDP is part of the United Nations Country Team (UNCT) along with other sister agencies contributing to the national United Nations priorities outlined in the Strategic Partnership Framework.
The UNCT is led by the UN Resident Coordinator (RC) who is the designated representative of the UN Secretary-General. The RC reports to the UN Secretary-General through the Chair of the UN Development Group. The work of the Resident Coordinator (RC) has been a key element of the ‘One UN’ reforms.
